100k Warranty Carry-over?
I know this probably belongs somewhat in the tranny problem forum, but I was kinda hoping to get a little more exposure. Anyways, my 2k Maxima was recently stolen, and due to the large number of aftermarket goodies I had, chances are I'll never see it again. So now I'm looking into a used CL-S with about 40k miles on it from a private seller. My question is, with the horrific tranny failure rate, does anyone know if the 100k warranty will extend over to another owner? I'm thinking it should, but I just want a heads up if there's a possibility I'm gonna be SOL when my tranny goes and stuck paying for it myself. Anyone know? Thanks!

Thanks for the replies, looks like there's nothing really left to worry about. If the Max isn't found in 3 weeks, the insurance company takes ownership, my loan goes away, and I have to find a new car. I'm looking to spend around $20k, and while it surprised me, I was able to find one for pretty close to that, so I see no reason not to get myself into one. I want my old car back more than getting another one, but at least there's a light at the end of an otherwise dark tunnel.
