09 tl IM boosted?

Was thinking about replacing my intake manifold with the magnesium 09 one. Question is would there be any issues with the fitment with the CT blower?

From what I've read about the manifold, it's physically shorter in height and the mouth is several MM larger. So I would assume as long as your rubber intake hose to the TB itself is either replaceable or expandable, you have no reason for concern.

FYI, there's several threads that discuss the details on this intake on that website that talks about the PERFORMANCE of V6's....

Yes I have read a lot of threads on the manifold however I have not seen any one with a supercharger have one. I assumed there would be an issue since you still have to use the p2r adapter...would have issues with the s/c bolting up. Also the new manifold would deleting the dual stage butterflies...wonder how that would effect the the difference between the 2 setups

it is shorter but you could use an outlaw thermo gasket to raise the height back up. You would need the adapter which might throw the alignment off where the s/c elbow connects to the elbow attached to the manifold. Also people have got the butterflies to work on the 09 manifold.

Yeah that's exactly what I had a concern with was the elbow fitment. As far as the butterflies go are there any benefits swapping them into the 09? I've read unplugging the imrc is worth as much as 20hp with the sc setup . Apparently the butterflies are beneficial somewhat. I am no J series guru as some of you more knowledge board members are so maybe someone can enlighten me nji

The 09 Manifold Has Butterflies. And Yes Unplugging Them Will Kill Power.
