06 Civic Si vs. 06 GTI

Ran twice against a 06 GTI yesterday from 70-100. I pulled on him about a 1/2 car each time. From a stop they're suppose to be very close. I was happy with this outcome anyway. He had his girl in the car, haha, I had luggage in the trunk.

I ran a new GTI. Not fond of them at all. Car felt like it had no tq at all. I easily pulled away from him. Curious? Are those turbo charged/sc? It sure started hissing.
Oh yeah im H22.

they have a 2.0L w/turbo at 200bhp/208tq. it also weighs in at 3300+lbs. my brother's looking into getting one and said that the the A/T is actually slightly faster than their M/T. i told him he's better off getting a 3G TL like he first planned.
