Does anybody know if the 5AT from these accords is compatible with the CLS? Would you still use the same ECU or any of that so that shift points etc would still be the same? I don't know much about this area of cars so it's just a thought, but wouldn't it make sense if they didn't have problems and were still a 5spd auto to swap them? I have a feeling I'm going to get schooled on this thread but hey learning is learning right....

Possibly a dumb question but would these trannies work for the 5AT CLS's? I don't know much about this area of vehicles but as far as mating up and shift points etc, would it work? So next time my tranny goes out I could possible coerse Acura to put one of these in for better reliability. I'm guessing not or else they would've already done it but I figured I'd ask.
