Don't say that. I am keeping my fingers crossed for the new GS.
I love Lexus and all, but all the new models are taller and bloated and fatter IMO. Not my cup of tea. This may be the first car purchase on RATIONAL, like dealer service and reliability instead of enjoying looking at my car.

It's been out since 1981. Now it's even more bloated and less sporty. Just think, the 95 Maxima weighed 3080 lbs!!! 190hp, 0-60 in 6.6. THe new ones weigh what 3300lbs or more, 255 hp (really 240) a bunch of owners are gonna sue them for false advertising and are 0-60 in 6.3 maybe.

Hell, this is what I am afraid will happen to the next GS

Its funnie u bring up ur luv of maximas bro b/c i too have a soft heart for them...One of my uncle's had a 88 maxima he bought brand new back in the day and i loved that car from day1...I've liked every gen maxima even the 4th gen...however, w/this new maxima, i am VERY VERY disaapointed w/nissan and just sad to see it come to this...i always thought maximas were good looking cars (notably the 90-94 and the 02-03) but can't do so anymore w/this gen max

However, if the GS is ruined in the manner that u describe the upcoming lexus lineup 2 be in ur latter post, then definietly nothing is sacred in the auto industry (as u also stated in a previous thread )
