03TLS vs 04 TL vs 03 Accord V-6

I've seen 3 diff Dyno test in Mag's about those grounds. They all did from 4-11 hp increases. They say it depends on how good the factory ground system is not and where you place the wire's. It has something to do with increasing the ignition system voltage. For the record I don't own them and just metioned what I read. They won't help that Accord if it ran up on my CLS tho.

I'm sure we've all seen the bullshit dynos from people who come in and do a cold pull to get lower #s, then once the engine is warmed up they run it again with their new and improved grounding kit to get higher #s.
It's automotive forum genuises like yourself that the market preys upon. I pit your ignorance.
NOOB...

I'm sure these kids all realize that the ignition is self contained to the block...lol...I'm sure grounding the hell out out of the block to the chassis helps it a TON.
The ONLY reason you would need to uprade the ground would be if you upraded the other side of the circuit(s) as well. A 200amp alternator with 1/0 feeder is one example. The grounds to the block are just for suppose say anyway. The whole chassis is metal...:busted:

I gotta admitt. i was thinking about getting those wires. but think i'll passs. dont think that it could out preform or enhance the system in the CLS. think i'll put that money towards that Unchip. thanks.

Jag, a before and after dyno on a late model (post Y2k at least) n/a car goes a long way proving your point.

Grounding systems seem to be all the rage, but if your car already was properly grounded(as probably all new cars are) it is unnecessary. Maybe its just that Honda's are poorly grounded to begin with. [runs for cover]

That said, even if the factory grounds were just so so - you could upgrade all of the major grounds (>8ga) with plated connectors for <$50. These kits sell for over $100, ridiculous. They contain even longer runs of wire too.

Ok, don't mean to start this battle up again, but yet again I took out a brand new Accord V-6 (auto sedan). Went from a stop to about 80 and I had him by a little over a car length. And yes I still only have a K&N although headers are being bought real soon!

I just mean that some people have a hard time believing that a stock TL-S could take a Accord AV6 sedan based on the numbers that C&D posted for this car. 5.9 0-60 and 14.5? quarter mile. And actually he had the jump on me.

2003 TL-S I thought that race would be a cake walk. Thanks for letting me know it won't be. WOW, what is HONDA trying to do to us? Since when did Accords pack horsepower? Dang! The S/C is definitely a must for me.

Honestly I haven't had any troubles being stock with one of them, but I have seen and heard of many of them putting up pretty impressive numbers stock or with just an intake. Its been mentioned before that they are also 200 lbs lighter than our cars. Don't worry, if you got headers on the way, you should be just fine!!

I dont have it in front of me but I think C/D got a 7.0 0-60 and 15.5 ET for the AV6 Sedan. (And I know quicker time was recorded by Motortrend.)
My money would be on the TLS, if its racing against the AV6 sedan.

Ok, someone it may or may not have been in this forum said it was the Auto V-6 that could pull a 5.9 and a 14.5 quarter. What you are saying sounds more like what i am used to, I know my TL-S is a tad quicker than some other stock TL-S's I have raced but I didn't think I would be able to take a car that stock that ran a 14.5 quarter and beat it fairly easily. Thanks for clearing that up!
