03 warped rotors solved?

Someone said that it looked like the missing driving lights on the 03 made way for airflow to cool the front brakes. You think they're trying to address the warping rotors by keeping the temp down? Isn't it extreme heat the warps them?

I read a review on temple of vtec about the road lamps. They said that they are gone and I don't think you'll be able to purchase them from the dealership. Acura is now using the space to channel air-flow to the brakes

Excessive heating won't necessarily warp rotors. However, crappy rotor material will warp under heat and our rotors probably have that crappy material A good point is raised. Heat. IF acura would put bigger rotors on our cars, which is so desperately needed, we wouldn't have warping problem, because then the rotor wouldn't heat so much because an undersized rotor wouldn't be attempting to stop nearly 3750 pounds of weight!!!!

I'd rather they lower the weight of the car back to around 3000 lbs

Even the S2000 weighs 2800 and its a MUCH smaller car. A 3000 lb CL would have to give up all the luxury features and a lot of steel. That won't happen for safety and rigidity reasons.

S2000 needs the extra weight because it is a convertible. THe RSX is about 2800 lbs... a Bigger version of that could come in around 3000-3100.
