No way will the 2.4L TSX have 270hp, maybe 220hp most likely.. The Euro and Japan versions only have 195hp in the TypeS models..
Their 03 Accord has 270 probably cuz the US version has to meet some emmissions bullcrap, so that's why it's only 240..
or it could just be a Type-O

You have to understand that there are probably no smog/clean air controls on cars selling in the UAE saving Honda hundreds of dollars. When you don't give a shit about the air, you can get more HP. Make sense? Also, and there was a thread about this earlier in the year...A Honda engineer said, "Use premium gas in a new Accord V6 and get 10 more hp," bringing the total to 250.

A lot of the late-model cars including our CL-S's have very efficient knock-sense control that retard timing drastically if there is detonation caused by bad gas or anything else. I had a chat with some folks at Comptech and they have seen upto 25 degrees of retard!!
The Accord sits at 10.0:1 compression in the U.S. version. That puts out 240hp on 87 octane!! That motor WILL put about 250 to 260 on 91+ octane. The Asian or UAE version of the Accord probably has a 10.5:1 compression motor... hence the higher horsepower rating (I don't know the compression #'s for a fact)
The accord motor is a better engine than our CL-S... albeit displacement is less. I am very sure a new version of the 3.2 or 3.5 Type-S motor (SOHC) will make 300hp at the minimum.

I highly doubt they will offer an accord w/ MORE power than its luxry devision's CL. think about it... The CL will always have more or equal hp figures. One reason why they can have high hp figures for the accord in UAE is cause they don't have 'acura' to compete agaisnt' or look over. Here if they did that it would just KILL acura sales. shit why buy a luxury acura when u get more for less in a honda??

With summer temps hitting 122-degrees F, I'd hope the cars had some HP to keep them going (head to the strip and let me know how the times are when the temp is above 110-degrees F).
The "cool" season has "lows" around 77-degrees F.
IT IS VERY HUMID TOO...
