I like the new lenses, but why did you want to change? More backup lumens? Brighter stoplights? To be different? All valid reasons.

With the top portion white, you can make your turn signals any color you want... compared to the all red casing where our turn signals are red only

I agree with Scooter..except it looks like an OLD solara..they updated the tail lights this year with some funky new ones. I don't really think I want my car to look like an outdated Solara.

Very nice. You did get those from autocarparts.com right. Is there anything else I would need to install them.

Webtoker forget what they say! I like the tails. How much were they and how long did it take you to install them? Also, did you buy the harness and did you have to do few rewiring? PM if you want.

They look 100% better in person. The camera I used was using 800 film and I scaned it after that. When my rims come in friday, I am going to take some better pics.

Sorry, I had to bring up this old thread, but I'm installing the 03 tails and don't have the sockets since they are still on backorder from Honda. Does anyone have any install instructions on how to install these tails without the new sockets? I've done searches and nobody has posted a how to on the new taillight installs without the new sockets. Thanks.

Looks good. I like the new 03 lights better than the 01 lights on my car, so I am going to change up, too.

Problem is I'd rather not pay....300 plus bones, umh same problem others have to; that's a lot of money for purely cosmetic. So I'm sure there are 03 owners out there who don't like the "Solara" look and would prefer to swap their 03 lights for my 01 lights. I guess I would be willing to pay for the FedEx both ways so you wouldn't have to be without taillights not even for a day. PM me if interested. Thanks.

Of course, this is assuming the 01 lights will fit an 03?
