1 800 CARLAND is the # to call to find out the status of your order. ask for mike in the parts department. i called a couple of days ago and well the sockets were still on backorder. No ETA. i'm a little upset but nothing is gonna be billed to my card till everything is shipped. mike was under the impression that more people were going to buy though. i think he only had like 4 orders. i think "unofficially" that that may have something to do with it.

oh no..mike was cool about that. he totally plans on honoring the price even though the price was given based on at least 10 orders. for the same reason he also hasn't really established an end date for the group buy.

Im not mad, justy curious...Didnt we hear that there were some sockets in stock???
"my contact" can do both lamps, the sockets and the bulbs for 315 shipped. he has nine of the sockets in stock (i believe he meant 9 pairs) and is checking on the expected release date for the backorder

yeah. when i first contacted mike he told me that he had a few in stock. now the most recent time i called to find out what was up he said something about them having been sold. i know what u mean. i'm not particularly pissed but at the same time i'm not all that satisfied with that answer. the saving graces for me is that i haven't been charged for anything...yet.

i can only speculate as much a the next guy. i knew it wouldn't be an immediate turn around on this sale but i truly regret it taking this long though. i was at least under the impression that this would all be done in a much more expdeditious fashion.
unfortunately Mike from Acura Carland didn't get the number of orders that we anticipated. whether or not that plays into the current situation i don't know. i would actually invite u all to inquire with regards to the timing of your orders. 1.800.CARLAND and just ask for Mike in parts - be sure to reference the group buy and this board. in my dealings eith him thus far he's been very helpful and informative and good about responding. i'm not passing the buck here. i feel that it may be more beneficial if there's just more people than myself inquiring. lemme know of any new developments.

I am thinking of bailing out and canceling my order. The thing about an impulse buy is that the thing can't take weeks to get.
Now that I have had time to think about it, I called my dealer and he will match the price. Granted I need to pay tax, but he has them in stock, and he always does.
So, I think I am gettin out.

I would post the name of my dealer, but he asked me not to. I asked them if they would do a group buy and they said that they could not at this time. They really do not have a way to ship stuff.
Sorry...i will propose that they sell to me and I will ship to you all, if you pay me in advance....I am not sure this will work either.
They are also concerned about selling out of their stock.
