03 Eclips GTS runs a 14.3 ?!?! WTF?
Talked to this guy tonight. He s ells parts over at groupbuycenter.com . He said he used to own an 01 CLS. Anyways he claims to have run a 14.3 on his new eclipse with only Injen intake and Greddy catback exhaust.
This doesn't soud nearly feasible to me. Any of you guys nore knowledgable about this car?

i'm actually looking at an a6 2.7T 4 myself
i wuz wondering if you knew what type of mods do they hav 4 that car besides chips and turbo upgrades? also, will all the engine mods that work on the s4 work on the a6 2.7t?

Tonight might be the night you finally beat me! Actually now that the car is tuned you should smoke me as you always start pulling on me towards the end. Better bring your bike helmet just to be safe!

yeah I'm just busting yours...as Ferizzo so elequently pointed out, my car is a bit modded. Yeah, you can do anything for the A6 as you can for the S4. There are plenty of chips out there to choose from, exhuasts, down pipes, short shifters, suspensions, brakes etc. A chip, exhuast, downpipes should get you in the 320-350 hp range with 370-400 lb ft tq. For more than that, you need to try a turbo upgrade to get in the 400-450 hp range. They are kinda pricey and very labor intensive. I believe most shops find they have to pull the engine to get at the turbos. IF you are looking at 2.7T engines, look to see if they have the updated oil return lines from the turbos. I believe this was the cause of the somewhat frequent turbo faliures in these engines. I believe they were changed after a certain build date from the factory, but I would get them updated if they aren't already. Good luck.

hmmmm...I am no math major, but doesn't a 14.6 beat a 15.2? haha....just kidding. I think the car definitely feels faster now than before, but I'm just worried about getting out of the hole. I didn't like how the clutch felt the last few times I luanched hard. I will probably start out conservatively and see how things are. I will be happy with just about any improvement.
As for you, I will bring my bleeder/tire pressure valve....you will definitely need to bring the pressure down tonight.
