Three nights ago I ran into a late 90's C5 Corvette (I could tell from the wagon wheels) that got all excited when I tore it up to 50mph on a stretch prior to the highway. He caught up to me, passed me, then slowed down for the onramp. I followed him. He was alone and I had two passengers. After the onramp, he punched it hard, went sideways to the left, then to the right, I tought he was going to lose it. He ended up straightening out then slowly dissapeared out of sight. I didn't even try to run him, even if I had no passengers 1 sec and 5mph faster than me in stock form. Here's the kicker: after I caught up to him, he gives me a thumbs down, says "you guys are slow" and then just goes on his way.

Two nights ago I was out cruising when I run into a bright HID'd car, which turned out to be a mid 90's Prelude. We punched it several times up to 90ish mph but couldn't run properly because of traffic. All the runs were too close to determine a winner - we were always neck & neck. Yesterday, I found out he's got an all-motor built H22 that runs 13.8 (donno what mph). Having yet to drag my car @ the track, I was excited to find out I sayed side by side with a car that I am guessing traps 100-101mph.

Was fun, it got my adrenaline pumping.

Ummm, you say you're stock and he's only 1 second and 5 mph faster? Heck shit geared auto late 90's C5's run 13.6@106. You're not running 100 mph traps buddy.
