Today I was out admiring how much I love my 03 Blue Six speed when I notice the front grill paint peeling off! This made me very upset. I was wondering if I should consult Acura or just not worry about it. Does anyone else have this issue. It is on the top part of the grill right below the hood. Any suggestions? Thanks!

It doesn't sound normal.

 

Is it chrome underneath? You could always go back to the o.g. 01 looking grille.

As for telling Acura, they will probably say road hazard type of high wear thing and tell you to go piss up a rope. Paint on ALL cars sucks these days...don't get too down about it.

 

If it's the grill suround, painted on the 03, chrome on the 01-02 you can buy a new painted one. I did.

i pissed about all the rock chips on mine....i really thought the paint would be more durable, but i guess not....oh and Acura just said, we'll repaint it (at cost of course)

 

I wish it was a chip, but it is almost like it is just peeling right off. I might have to get the chrome grill because with less than 4k miles on my car I am going hate to see what it looks like in a year. Not to mention my car is leased. Maybe I will just go and get a 350Z or G35C.(just venting my frustration) Acura's, but I must say the CL-S 6speed is the best car I have had. Thanks for the suggestions. I will try and take some pics when I get my digital camera back.
