03 cls grill

Does anyone know if an '02 TL, CL, or CLS grill will fit the '03 CLS? I want the chrome surround rather than the body color match. Thanks.

The 01 and 02 CL grill will fit on an 03. I did the opposite of what you did, went from chrome to body painted grill surround. Costs about $40 if I remember correctly.

TL grill does not fit at all

I dont know if this is what you siad but I think you can buy the chrome piece without buying the whole grill just ask for an 01 or 02 cls "trim" for the grill at an acura dealership

Number 6

Part # 75120-S3M-A01

List price is pretty expensive ($80+). You're best bet is to trade with another member.

Its simple to replace. Unbolt the whole grille assembly (10mm bolts). Flip it over and you should see alot of phillips head screws. Unscrew those and carefully remove the surround.

wow that is sad a grille is THAT many parts...

they just make it like that so it's more to repair.

"Sorry sir, the grill is actually a combination of 9 different parts,... yea that'll be 300 plus tax" lol insane

Progression: your grille would look way better with only the mesh black...the rest SSM. IMO.

i get where ur coming from man, but it really grew on me... I just wanna get 03 head lights so they are darker that way it looks more symetrically black on the front end. I can always geter painted but right now i like it a lot. too much to worry about changing it.

right now i am done spendng $ on the car... i've been doing that for 6 months. lol

I got it completely stock when i entered this site.. look at my sig... that's not even all of it. i got winter tire/rims, then got the wood grain steering wheel, acura all season mats, trunk mat, plus a CT FSB and links in my garage. oh and 3 extra synthetic oil changes worth

I just wanna get the XLR8 cat and then I will be doing that and the sway at the same time. and I will really be finished the car, till something break and I gotta upgrade it. lol

lots of $

you can do the headlights yourself. There info on it here, do a search. You have to bake them to open them up, spray paint black and reseal. Much much much cheaper than getting new headlights with exact same results.

Yea, its rediculous that it lists for $87, when you can get a painted one from the dealer for less the $40.

I also want to black out my headlights. Scared to do it. Is there a DIY specifically for blacking them out?

OP: What color is your CL. I have the chrome trim and if you wanted to I will trade you.

There are a couple write-ups for blacking out the headlights. If you haven't cleared yours yet then it will be perfect cause you can clear and black 'em out at the same time. When I cleared mine I didn't want the black headlights. Now I do and I wish I would have done both at once...

I sadly don't need that piece. I need the more expensive part which is the outside molding. I did some searching and if I'm correct the chrome molding style is part #75120-S3M-A01. Can anyone confirm if that's the chrome coloring? Oh, it's number 6 on the grille
