03 CLP -Get recalls done?!

My 03 CLP is working fine so far, I think.
No major issues, I've gone back for warranty for my gas light not turning on.
I was thinking about bringing it back because my sunroof closed makes quite some sound unless I pull the shade shut.
I don't know if that was a listed recall.

I don't think the tranny has any issues yet. Sometimes I may think it does, but it just might be something in my head after reading all these tranny problems posts.

If there are these recalls on my car should I bring them back to get it fixed?

So far I have found:

Certain operating conditions can result in heat build-up between the countershaft and secondary shaft second gears in the automatic transmission, eventually leading to gear tooth chipping or, in very rare cases, gear breakage can occur. Gear failure could result in transmission lock-up. Correction: On vehicles with 24 000 kms or less, the dealer will update the transmission with a simple revision to the oil cooler return line to increase lubrication to second gear. On vehicles with more than 24 000 kms, the dealer will inspect the transmission to identify gears that have already experienced discoloration due to overheating. If discolouration exists, the transmission will be replaced. It discolouration is not present, the dealer will perform the revision to the oil cooler return line.

Make: ACURA
Model: 3.2CL
Affected Year(s): 2003
Units Affected: 2011
TC Recall #: 2002155
Manufacturer:
Campaign Code: HJ90, HJ91, HJ92, AJ68, AJ69, AJ70

Recall Details
On certain vehicles, the water pump castings are not within specifications
because of a manufacturing die problem. As a result, the timing belt
tensioner pulley is misaligned. This pulley misalignment causes the timing
belt to contact a bolt on the cylinder head, eventually damaging the belt.
If the timing belt broke, it would cause the engine to stall, which could
result in a crash. Correction: The dealer will inspect the water pump
assembly, and if necessary, replace the water pump and timing belt.

Question is should I do all these recalls?!

From reading all those posts, the oil jet cooler has caused my problems than solved.
I am afraid after I give my car to the dealer I am gonna get back a lemon.

And is it possible to wait out the tranny recall?! For a few more years until my tranny is almost gone. I think its fine now, but why not wait til later so it may possibly last longer?!

As well I think my rotors are going warped. Maybe because there was a little flood before in the city, I hit a huge puddle and then all I saw was smoke coming off my front wheels, my rotors cooled off nice and fast that problably warped them good. Sometimes when I brake it kinda pulls left and right a little. I wonder if they will cover it. I am 5 months away from the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty excluding light bulbs. @ 28K Kilomters.

Sure, I would get the recall stuff done before the warrantee runs out. It doesn't cost anything and they issued a recall for a reason.

I had the tensioner recall done on my CLS, but my VIN didn't require the waterpump fix.

The brake thing is usually up to the dealers decression, but my dealer replaced the pads and resurfaced the rotors on my CLS. I think they felt they had to tho' as they messed up the rear brakes when they adjusted the parking brake. My CLS also has had the sunroof squeak fix done to it (that was a TSB).

I'll have the dealer look at the 03-015 AUG 03 Audio System - Remote Controls Don't Work
Properly TSB the next time I bring my car in. I've been having trouble with the volume controls changing the channel and stuff like that.

Well I changed my head unit out so I won't be having that issue I have the integration where it will control my aftermarket deck. Works no problem, but I am afraid, because all those people who have had no problems and then gone in for the recall of the oil jet, has caused tranny failures after.
Like I said, I don't wanna be stuck with no lemon=)

I was wondering if this problem can be fixed under warrenty or such:

On the driver side window up/down controller, the switch/button thing for the passenger side window is very slow in response or it sometimes doesn't even even respond. But on the passenger side if you press down it works fine. Is it just some electrical problems or something? Thanks for any help.

Sorry for the jacking your topic!

Being a guy who does a lot of wiring, you should bring it back for warranty. Your driver side switch for the passenger window only makes the switch on the driver side click, it could be a faulty relay and loops over there, it doesn't actually power that window down itself. If you were to turn on the window lock, you still cannot roll down that window from the driver side.

Bring it back to acura, it is a warranty issue
