03 Accord V6EX RENTAL report!!!!
guys, me currently in Minnappolis, MN, i rented this 03 EX \/6 coupe from this rental place.... This rental is cool, they rent out cars such as Corolla TypeS, loaded Highlander, Passat 1.8T, Golf GTi VR6 6spd, Accord V6, Civic Si, and Matrix XRS.... anyway, its a hella cool rental car place....
I currently ha\/e a CLP with full mods, which should run mid 14s... the accord, power, low end power is GOOD from 0-60, e\/en to 100, still good, but once shifted into 4th gear, seems like 3.0 is a 3.0, dont ha\/e that torque... O\/erall, the torque aint as strong as CL.... Qualities, its a pretty solid build car, maybe since the car only has 300miles, no rattles anywhere.... Its snowing bad here in MN for the whole day, BUT, i am suprise how this car can handle e\/en in the snow...
O\/erall, this is a GOOD car, dont take me wrong, Accord maybe not as high class as CL, BUT, still, its a 03 technology, \/s. 00 TL/CL technology.... i am sure Acura will ha\/e something new later, but for now, Accord is the way to go.... NOT the price tho, this car is loaded with Moonroof with na\/agation, and its sticker 28,500......

But its still a CHEAP looking CL.........Everytime I see one, I say to myself: "The CL is way more classy, sleak and just all around better looking car" ! And why does eveyone still double look at my car ???? The Accords are BUTT UGLY ! Good car ? No doubt about it......

the accord has better gearing than the CL/TL, and a 0.29 drag coefficient!!! Mine flys at speeds over 100!
MY PARENTS TLP on the other hand DIES after 80mph!!

That is true the accord is barely reaching grounds the cL-s has already conquered. We have paved the way for you my son now make us proud and when the going gets tough call us and will take care of it. Like the tough older brother

About the gearing thing, I am not sure what is wrong with your parents TLP who cannot fly at 80mph.... thats should be the max point of the 3rd gear, with \/TEC re\/\/ing happy, shouldnt be dead at all, till about 105mph, thats when 4th gear kicks in....
I ha\/e lost to any new accord yet on highway speed, not yet! off the line, we always pull side by side, but by 80mph, my 3rd gear, i always pull away little by little

Sir, it was I, who drove that "TLParents ride" to the track and got that 15.3sec time! I got it only once, and the only other close time was 15.4! these times were got in very cold weather, and by abusing the car(hard launch, gate shifiting at redline, etc)!!! Having personally driven both cars extensively at WOT, I can say that in a race, my accord will OBLITORATE the TLP! even a type s can only hope to hang with me, but not after 60mph! yes, at 80mph you can gate shift the tlp down to 3rd, and pull at bit to 100mph, but after 100mph, I never had the ballz to go any faster! the car has so much front lift that you feel the boat get "floaty!". also with the high drag coefficient, and tall gearing, 4th, and 5th, had ABSOLUTELY NO PULL after 100mph!! I cruzed effortlessly in my accord at 130mph, down I-90 this very morning! no need to down shift from fifth on the highway!! plenty of passing speed, and stability >100mph!
Don't get me wrong, I love the TLP/CLP. they are 10 times more luxurious than my accord, but in terms of handling, and acceleration, I'll hand them their ass!

Corolla Type-S? With the "full factory kit"? Never mind. I dont want to know! Actually I think I've seen some driving around So. Cal. probably the same 115bhp motor but another $3k.
