01 vs 03 seats

I was looking to switch out the driver seat out of my 01 cl type-s Auto to an 03 cl type-s seat 6mt. I understand the heated seats work differently in an 03 (no hi-low) therefore my question is would the seat be plug and play connection wise? Is there any difference between the 2 seat that anyone knows of?

I just don't want to have 2 different seats in my car if there are any differences in actuality between the 2 years (seat height, shape, color, ect)

Any info would be helpfull

Nobody?....i found out that the drivers seat uses a differant computer and main harness plug for the 03 and 01-02 seats. Passenger seat is plug and play. I'm surprised no one replaced thier seat in the CL yet. My seat has play both on the back part and on the lower cushion. I would like to tighen it up buy not sure if its possible. replacement might be the only option.....Any suggestions?

Connections wise I'm not sure but what I can tell you is the 6 speed seat almost always has wear on the front left side from the constant movement of the clutch. If play is the only reason you're replacing it I would recommend taking it out and tightening up the hinges and mount points. You should have access to all the bolts/nuts by taking off the lower plastic panels and the panel off the rear. It's worth a shot before you buy a new seat. Just remember to disconnect the battery because srs and make sure you have the radio code. Hope this helps.

The 03s use dual stage airbags, but I dont know if that affects the airbags in the seat. If it does, the wiring will be different. The 6MTs didnt have a low setting on the heater element, but the autos did for all years.
