Is the 01 nav disk different from the 02?

Is the 01 nav disk different from the 02?

According to this link, we can get a free update to the disk up to 2 years after purchase...

Red the entire article...

You will see:

Acura offers free updates to the hard drive based Navigation System during the first two years of ownership from the date of purchase. These are generally 1999 model years and prior.

The Pre-99 NAVI's used a Hard drive as the Data container.... This doenst apply to the DVD-based NAVI..

CHOD, is this in the FAQ?
