Reported to be around 150mph. My "friend" didn't quite get there but he did provide these videos on a recent trip thru Iowa. Wanna see what near 140mph looks like? For the record in case LEO is reading, "my friend" is not me.

I cannot believe you held the camera while doing 140mph, and was able to pan back and forth between the road and the dash. You need an CAI, the sound of that VTEC opening up makes the rush even sweeter.

it's like our car hits a brick wall at around 110mph-ish.

So who wants to wager Honda added (set the gears so tall) 4-5th gears to get 30mpg!
mc222, hehe, Leo is my friend Law Enforcement Officer.
Not sure about the brick wall at 110 but several times he was "holding" while getting his gear together and observing the road ahead...so he wasn't always under full acceleration. Me personally I would not drive that fast with someone else in the car, so I would have to do the videowork myself. The CL is surprising steady at ultra high speeds.
I know that area in Iowa, right at the Missouri state line. It takes several runs to get down that 1 mile or so stretch at high speeds...about 6 runs. First to check for cops, come back turn around, and then waiting on the ramp for traffic to clear (I would never pass another car at those speeds). Takes about 1 hour to do 3 good runs/roundtrips.

I'm sure headers really help in the 110mph+ zone
