last saturday night me and 2 of my friends we're cruising down the 405-N by westminster making our way to LA to get some drinks =D we went in 3 cars my cl my friends srt-4 and my other friends itr both cars have headers and some minor bolt on parts the and the itr a fuel injection system installed we cruised for a little going around 60 or 70 and we all lined up i downshifted to 3rd and then we all punched it by the time i was back in 4th gear i was 2/3rds of a car ahead of the srt-4 and about 1 1/2 cars ahead i shifted into 5th going about 120ish and i was a good 2 ahead of the srt-4 and 4-5 cars ahead of the itr then we hit traffic so we slowed down and just cruised around then all of a sudden this auto g35 pulls up next to me i look over and he gives me this smile so we looked for a clear hole in the traffic and took off overall i kept up with him trailing his ass weaving in and out of traffic going about 115 it was fun but he exited and me and my friends just continued to la it was fun overall we got our hypnotiq and went to party =D

sorry typed too fast, i shifted into 4th when i got around 120 we had to slow down cause of the traffic

ur cl-s has no engine mods and you pulled on an srt-4 by 2 cars? and i agree with dem1k...how do you keep pulling if you're going 120 and you shift into 5th gear ><

are you sure he was still trying?(the srt-4)
and was he WOT to begin with?
you shouldnt be pulling on srt-4's w/no mods.
you shouldnt even be pulling on the ITR if he has headers, intake, and the other mods you stated.
:BENEFIT OF DOUBT: THEN AGAIN-they could just be horrible drivers.
but weaving in and out of traffic as quickly as you stated is HIGHLY frowned upon this board, just letting you know.

first of all the srt4 is faster then an ITR and @ higher speeds a stock cl-s CAN take an srt4... 3rd gear @ 80mph will for sure overtake a srt4 from a roll @ those speeds ... same scenario for the ITr.... from the line an srt4 would win, i dont know bout the ITR from a roll...

the only reason i took those two cars was because we had a rolling start, the srt-4 has torque and definately wouldve taken me from a start up

are you forgetting that the srt had some mods? check out this vid of me vs. my friends stage 1 srt-4.

no way a stock cls should be able to beat an srt at ANY speed unless grandma is driving the srt.

exactly what im saying. i do agree that a cl-s can pull on a stock ITR (ive done it, but not by much at all)but not an SRT-4. and it has been stated that both cars are modded and the CL-S has no mods.

Speaking from personal experience the srt-4 will easily overtake a stock cl.

the srt driver probably wasn't pushing it.....stock for stock the srt4 would kill the cl-s...not to mention a modded srt-4 vs a stock cl-s

I DEFINITELY second that ... and try to go from a roll...say around 45-50ish, taht way you get the top of 2nd and all of 3rd
