'01 Black CL-S, 20% dark tints, 19" chrome rims. The driver was wearing a blue and white hat.

I passed you on Colesville Road at New Hampshire around 8:00pm. I noticed your rims and decided to roll next to you for a while. We got lined up at a light about 2 miles down the road.

I gave you one full car length at the start. I'm in the far left lane, you are in the middle lane. Traffic light turns green and you gun it out of the hole. I hear a slight chirp from your tires. I ease in my throttle and I spin a little once Vtec kicks in in 1st gear. By the time I'm WOT you have 2.5-3 car lengths on me. I didn't hear any intake growl from your engine so I'm assuming you were stock under the hood. Little did you know what i've been spending my dollars on.

By the time I reach 60mph I've already pulled within less than a car length of you. The BMW 530i that was playing along is still 1-1.5 lengths ahead of you. At 75 mph I'm pulling past you with no sign of either of us giving up.

I fly past the BMW at about 85 mph shortly there after. I keep it WOT until I hit 100 mph and I look in my rear view mirror and you are at LEAST 6-8 car lengths back. I back off and you fly past me still WOT.


So again, after the start, you had 2 lengths on me. By 100 mph I had about 7 lengths on you!

Didn't realize how much faster my mods have made me than the stock CL-S.

I don't think that guy is on this board. they are quite a few people w/ CLs that don't browse the board.

That might be the same guy I saw over 2 years ago on 495. He had chrome rims.

I'm assuming so. I haven't seen it since. we were on 495N just north of Largo when he zoomed past me.

But, that was the reason why I chose the color black for my car.

I sure hope a CL-S with all the basic bolt on parts would smoke a stock one. When I had I/H/E on my TL-P I raced a stock one and destroyed it very bad as well.
