Are their any beter flowing heads than the type s heads ?
Any heads offer higher lift, longer duration cams, or make higher compression?
looking to get schooled on some head knowledge that out Anything perform beter than 01-03 type s heads ?

 

07-08 tl type s heads, but those arent a direct bolt on. oil passages are diff or something like that.

 

^Anyone that you know using them?
I looked at some but, either the intake side or the exhaust side had one big square hole,and I did'nt think it will line with anything.

 

exhaust hole. the exhaust manifold is cast into the head. keep the type s heads and port and polish them

 

04+tl engines are slightly shorter so the heads will not fit our blocks. Someone tried to use the CL-S cams on a 03 accord and they were about 1/4" too long. Interestingly enough the 09+ intake fits.....

 

Yup, the second gen Js are slightly shorter.

You can use the 07-08 Type S cams if you make a spacer, but Im not sure of the gains, if any.

The CL-S heads would be the best you can get.

 

Thanks for everyone's input. looks like I need to be searching for a cl-s top end to play with.
I thought one of the year mdx's had the same heads as the type-s.
