a buddy of mine with a crappy civic SI doesnt believe that the Type-S can do a 14.6 STOCK!

i also told him that with mods, we are able to run low to mid 14's but he wants "proof". what a dick!

so help me out peple. tell me:

1. your 1/4 miles times with speed ( if you want to add in the 60foot times too )

and most importantly!
2. what mods you have (ie. comptech headers, comptech springs, tires)

In sig. This was with Comptech suspension upgrades, K&N drop-in filter, and the Nitto's of course! Can't wait to see it after I'm all done!

Cars 60 ft times are fairly consistant at 2.22~2.29

Nobody will scan in those slips because a stock CLS cannot run a 14.6.

I ran a 14.7 with headers, CAI and sticky tires. I wish the CLS could run a 14.6 stock, but I don't think so.

I can tell you that the time on my sig was stock 12 months ago. I scanned and posted the time slip on the old TL-CL board. I don't know if it was transferred to here or it might still be over at the TL board.

Since then I have added a CAI and the car is definitely faster than before but no official runs, yet

With just intake I ran a 14.8.

Headers/Intake 14.6

Headers/Intake/Pulleys/Exhaust 14.5 @ 96mph (im trying or 14.4 hopefully opn sat)

Spiroh - Any "lamp dimming" problems with the pullies? Just ordered a set from Tim , and was going to try just the PS first. Insight appr'd.

PS - I'm leaving audio bone stock (works for me, I'd rather buy speed goodies! )

If u leave your audio system stock, you wont get any dimming at all. I only get dimming when Im pounding witht he subs at high levels. You should be fine.
