I was quoted 28,310 on a non-nav Type-S CL w/ MSRP of 30,810. Can I do better?

That's good considering invoice is 28,128 but I'd squeeze them for more. They probably have a lot full of CLs.

Don't pay more than $28,000. Don't forget, they get a 3.5% holdback so they can sell you the car for around $26,500 and still not lose money... Tell them to go fuck themselves if they deny they have a 3.5% holdback. Don't listen to any of the tired excuses like "Well, only the dealership gets the money." or "My department doesn't get that money" or "We only get that money if we sell a certain amount of cars" or "That money is not part of negotiation". FUCK THEM. It's money they get, I subtract it from invoice to determine TRUE invoice pricing and I never pay above invoice, EVER. I got my CL-S with Navi for $200 over invoice WITH spoiler installed. This was back in October too!
