$148 to install a spoiler!
I called 2 dealers and they said the charge is going to be.
$148 and it will take 2 hours and the other one said they have to have my car for a half a day.
I think i am get total BS.
But anyone know where i can get it installed in CT?

DO IT YOURSELF
are u trying to install OEM spoiler? they should come with instructions.
open your trunk
there should be 2 round small bubbles on each side of the inside of the trunk (on the edge) i believe u just drill where those holes are and just slide the spoiler in there and tighten with the nuts
u should be able to figure out the LED brake light if u look at the layout of the wiring on the trunk. car companies will ALWAYS MAKE OEM INSTALL EASY AS POSSIBLE. the led is probably a plug and play.
just remember not to drill the hole to big or maybe the instructions have specific drill size bit?
the next thing is upgrading the trunk spring so that the trunk spring does not fall on u when u open the trunk.

Can I just tighten it some how?

for $27.74, or try to have your dealer match their price.

Hey...
I have a wing from spoiler depot too and I still haven't had it installed - really don't feel like drilling and possibly screwing up (their "instructions" and hardware were fairly bogus). I've been quoted $60 locally - 1 1/2 hrs tops. Shop around...

Sit tight brother man.... Chikai and myself are doing a Do-it-yourself post on the spolier depot.com spoilers... I installed mine the other day and I just got my clear LED in the mail today...http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...threadid=83918
You will see that info posted there.... about the Clear LED..
As for the springs, Chikai and myself are discussing that this weekend... the spolier is not heavy at all as you probably noticed... but we will have the post up within the next week or so.... sit tight and you can keep your money in your pocket or spend the extra cash on a Clear LED...
Smitty
P.S.. I hope you only paid 199 for the spoiler, paint, and shipping... cuz that is what we got it for... if Not PM me..

I bought mine for $199 also. So it wasn't hard to install you said?
I think I am going to try it with my friend this Sunday and since it isn't as heavy do I need the new spring?

I noticed
I installed it and the trunk stayed up just fine... ... Make sure you adjust the rubber stoppers on the trunk (As NSXNEXT instructed on that post I sent you) this will dampen any rattle you may have if you got an upgraded boom box in your trunk...LOL...
If you sit tight I will have every measurement you will need and step by step instructions in the next week or 2.. As soon as Chikai's spoiler gets here we are installing his here...
