Your hit man... That is double the speed limit... It should tell you on the back of the ticket how much that is going to be... There is probably no way you will come out without points even with a lawyer, but definitely get one.... That could be 6 to 8 pt ticket....

ouch, hmm if there all laser then its a tough decision, i mean u'll get some warning but most of the time when the radar goes off and its laser they already have you. umm bel has a good anti laser device, you can research the legality if you want.

Technically its not illegal but they could consider it interfereing with police something or other. They also came out with phazer or some crap that blocks all radar and laser, i dont know if it works but it has some guarantee.

my $0.02

Get a good detector, you can't afford to get another ticket anytime soon. V1 is THE best, good luck.

Sorry to hear about your ticket. Get a good radar detector. Don't worry, California is NOT going to go 100% laser anytime soon. I can tell you at least half a dozen reasons why not and I don't even live there. But trust me, not only won't they, they can't afford to. Get a V1...soon. Mine is for sale...$325.

I did check eBay. Hehe, for my friends on ACL, it's $325. All you get is the unit and a coil cord AC adapter and either one of the mounting brackets.

20 over does not disqualify you for traffic school. Any judge in any country can grant traffic school for practically anything, it is in their discretion. I successfully completed traffic school a month ago to keep a 96 in a 55 from showing on my record.
