Winter tires for 05 stock rims
Hey guys,
I am looking at getting winter tires for my 05 TSX. Was going to get 16'' steel rims, new snow tires, and the whole thing, but that was going to cost me ~$1000. A friend at work is selling a pair of Nokian high end winter tires with one season on them for $125. They are 225/45-17. Will these fit onto my stock rims?
Thanks guys,
Scott

Yes, I'm running that size for summer tires. It is just on the fringe of being too small of a diameter showing 830 revs per mile. Basically, at 80 mph on the guage, I'm really doing about 78-78.5mph.

Shame that I know the difference, b/c I now do 82mph on the highway. I'll be switching to my WS-50 snow tires on my 2nd set of stock rims which will put me back to the 813 revs per mile, so I'll be back to "normal".
Other side effect is technically more miles on the odometer too.
