Wheel Spacers, Extended Studs and Lug Nuts

If you use a 15mm spacer which comes with required extended studs, do you HAVE TO use extended lug nuts?

Just wonder if normal lug nuts would work.

Show me the product you plan on using. If the one you're going to buy is just the spacer with the 5x114.3 bolt pattern holes and requires actually pressing knew extended studs in...don't get that one.

The one I got was a 15mm spacer which is an adapter, and has the studs already on spacer itself. You can use regular lug nuts with the adapter I bought.

Notice the picture above does not have the studs built-in to the spacer. This will force you to go to a shop, remove your existing studs, then press in the new extended studs. Pressing 20 studs will definitely cost you some money.

Now the one above already has the studs built in. If you get the right one for your car, the new (regular length studs) should be the same pitch and length, therefore you'll be able to use regular bolts

In the holes of the spacer. Then there's special lugnuts that secure the spacer to the wheel hub.

Then you attach the wheel to the studs that came with the spacer, and put the lugs on the new studs.
