Wanli Tires ?
Whats the info on Wanli tires ? I know that they are cheap and unreliable. What company makes them? Has anybody ever purchased these tires? If so, what do you have to say about them.

They're from a Chinese manufacturer (I know that much just from the name). I think actually that they are imported by a former associate of my Dad's. Considering that no reputable tire chain sells them, I'd be very wary of getting any until I read a few reviews. Look around on the web and you should be able to find some info.

Thanks for the input. I'm looking to purchase Tires and wheels from http://www.discountedwheelwarehouse.com. Since most of their Tire and Wheel deal are packaged with Wanli, I wanted to get some info. Most likely I will upgrade the package to Falken Z 512. I'm just curious to see if anybody here had any experiences with Wanli.

Chrome wheels are really big in the EAST COAST.

I was just asking a question, didn't mean any harm just by asking. If you take offense to my simple question, about other people opinions or experiences about Wanli tires, then I'm sorry for your dismay.

you need more than...
Great balls of steel if you want to use these tires. They may look like something familiar but they have no way of copying tread compounds. Not much in the way of grip wet or dry. However if you are willing they can help you learn about skidding(and corrections) in dry conditions...haha. Your life (and that of others) is surely worth much more than having the cheapest tires around.
