VOLK GT-C's in 19's

i was wondering if anyone knows how much these run in 19's and how much do the weigh. The centerline RPM's 19x 7.5 weigh in at 17 lbs each...if the volks are close in weight i might get them as well...im looking for them in 19's though...nothing smaller will work...thanks for the help.

while parts of the GT-C are forged, they're multipiece and not as light as the 1 piece TE37/CE28. I think the 17" are 17lb, so extrapolate that into 19", probably around 21lb

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Volk makes 19's less than 8" wide. Can anyone confirm this? I've been debating between 18" and 19" Volks and this fact pretty much made it a no-brainer for me to go with 18's.

With 7.5", you'll need a very high offset as it is. I like the "tucked" look rather than the "flush" look. In order to do this, I figure you need at least +48 offset so that the wheel is completely inside the fender. With 8", your offset would need to be +52 or something (Just a guestimate)??? Do they even make rims with +52 offset??? Also, you might risk rubbing the INSIDE face of the wheel against suspension componenets, which is just as bad if not worse than rubbing the OUTSIDE face against the fender.

Can anyone confirm any of this or am I just way off base? HAHAHA...

Sorry if I hijacked your thread, Stokeless. Maybe I should've started a new topic...

18x7.5 +42 is far inside the fender, higher offset will pull it in more, but 42-48 look perfect from all the pics. that's about what everyone runs.

Volk makes lots of different offsets in their 2-piece wheels (like the GT-C). It's easier to do since the rim is a different part altogether from the face.

Very true. It's MUCH worse to clang wheels on suspension links than to put rubber on your fender.

If you order, VOLK will make any combination you want. GT-Cs now come in 20s! They just began making 19s last year. You also have to decide Face 1 or 2. Since your FWD, you should go Face 1 all around.
