Oh, another note on my setup. I think its lower than other people who have had the Neuspeed Sport Springs because I have an automatic and I think other people have had manuals. Just take that into consideration when looking into lowering springs. I also lowered the rear .25" more using the shocks.

The relatively soft spring rate of the Comptech springs explains why the spring itself can be so long and yet provide a noticeable drop - b/c softer springs compress more.
Compare this to H&R springs which, per al8818, have the shortest uncompressed length, but provides the least amount of lowering - something like only 1" lower. This is b/c the H&R springs are the stiffest so, even though the springs start out fairly short, they only give a small amt of lowering when you put them in the car.

But after the wheels get put on this weekend, that's going to be it for the summer. I need to start saving for Bachelor's parties to go to, wedding gifts to buy, Vegas trip in the summer, etc...

What do you mean? Weight of AT brings it down?

so what is the final drop in the front and back? althugh you dropped the back .25 more than the front, i still notice the back is higher than the front. i was thinking of lowering the back .10 more than the front and that would make it look even from front to back. but looking at your pictures, .25 might not be enough to make the back even with the front. what does a guy have to do to get an even drop from front to back, 1.5" in front and 2" in back?!?!

JTso... so 1.5 in the front and 2.25 in the back? I noticed the picture of your car... I like your drop from front to back; it looks even. How much did you drop your front and back?

Or, another option could be leave the rear at an extra .25" drop since there's still a little gap, but then raise the front .25". I think that would be a perfect wheel gap. I might do this at the end of the summer before winter hits.

wait a second, you lowered the front more than the rear?!? isn't that aginst the logic of getting an even stance when the TSX is so front heavy? I thought you needed to lower the rear more than the front.

The front has a bigger gap than the rear for the TSX or most cars for that matter. That's why most lowering springs will lower the front more than the rear in order to have a more even gap. The front springs also have heavier spring rate than the rear to handle the heavier weight.

understood...then you would lower the rear more than the front. I'm thinking 1.9 in the rear and 1.6 in the front. that should make it an even stance from front to back.

If you lowered the rear 1.9" and the front 1.6", the car would look pretty lame. It would look extremely ass heavy - as if you filled the trunk with bags of cement.
Front weight bias of the TSX (for that matter, all FWD cars) has NOTHING to do with how the stance is. The way to balance the front weight bias is achieved by having much stiffer springs in front - NOT by lowering the rear more than the front. While lowering the rear more than the front would help shift some of the front weight bias to the rear, the car would look ridiculous and the stiffer springs up front would already alleviate most of this problem.

-Tein SS (Installed at factory recommended settings) Lowered about 2" fr and rr.
-I love them!
-Can't remember what I paid for them....like $900(ish) shipped from Mr. Heeltoe.
-Installed by JTso for pretty much dirt cheap (I thought).

I don't know why I don't have an admission in this thread when I'm the one who started it, LOL. Well here's my setup:
1. Your suspension Setup (springs, struts, coilovers, camber kit, etc...)
Neuspeed Koni Yellow Shocks
Neuspeed Sport Springs
Ingalls Rear Camber Kit
2. Your comments on how the setup works for you
I currently have the front at the neutral spring perch and the rear at one perch setting lower.
I currently have the dampening of all 4 shocks set to Full clockwise turn, then one 360 degree turn counter clockwise
I really like this setup right now. The stock suspension was already pretty stiff and with this setting its just a little bit stiffer. Keep in mind that when you change to an aftermarket rim with a low profile tire, it'll feel stiffer too. I'm comparing the stiffness when I had my stock wheels on.
3. How much you purchased it for and where
Neuspeed Koni Yellow Shocks -$570 - Ebay.com
Neuspeed Sport Springs - $160 - ImportHorizon.com (Internet)
Ingalls Rear Camber Kit - $135 - Ultrarev.com
4. Pictures of the setup on your car (PLEASE TRY TO POST PICS)
With stock wheels:
With 225/40/18 aftermarket tires:
Hope this helps!

Actually, can a mod maybe clean up thread and have this thread only be for people to display their suspension setup and not be a thread for comments?
