Toe alignment specs
Quick question regarding front toe alignment:
Does it have to be zero? I just got an alignment done, and my front toe specs are now as follows - Front Left: -0.03, Front Right: 0.04, Front Total Toe: 0.00.
This is for a 2006 TSX, and the front toe spec range is -0.08 to 0.08. Just want to make sure this is good.
Thanks.

If I'm not mistaken, a slightly negative toe is preferred to improve stability. Tires don't roll on perfectly smooth surfaces, and they're not perfectly round or smooth themselves, so they do pull slightly to the left and right while driving down the road. A slightly negative toe points them inward in the front IIRC which helps reduce the effects of the tires slightly uneven pulling.
You've got -0.03 and 0.04 which is so close to 0 you wouldn't notice it. It certainly doesn't have to be 0, adn those numbers seem good. Bear in mind that the machine used to do the alignment has some margin of error in it. Just look at the total toe it shows. 0.04-0.03 isn't 0.00.
