Tire Pressure

what's a good PSI for front and back tires? I just got my car last week, and i checked today...front was 30 and back was 35 psi. Is that how it's supposed to be?

Manual recommends 32 front, 30 rear. Several people have run 35 all around to good effect.

when you guys talk about tire pressure, do you measure it when your tires are HOT or when it's COLD? There are a few psi difference when they're hot and cold.

I got 35 all around.

What is the big difference or driving effects of lowering/raising tire pressures???

Increase tire pressure slightly above recommended:
-reduces contact patch of tire
-increases mpg
-increases side-wall stiffness
-can increase tire wear on center of tire tread

Decrease tire pressure slightly below recommended:
-increases contact patch
-decreases mpg
-reduces side-wall stiffness
-can increase tire wear on outside edges of tire tread

That's a rough summary. If you had a specific scenario in mind, I can tell you more or less how it will affect the handling, ride, and wear characteristics.

How do you Increase Oversteer and Decrease Understeer through front/rear tire pressure? So that we get more of a Neutral handling response.

On the TSX, you'll want to raise rear tire pressure to get them to grip less. Play with the tire pressures in increments of 0.5 psi at a time until you find a combination that works well for you.
