Tire Help, Falken Azeni rt 615

Im getting a wheel thats 18 x 8, and has a 48 offset. Now my question is what size tire should i get, whats the widest i can go, 235/40 or 245/45??

Also im considering the Falken Azeni rt 615 summer tire, any opinions on it or other recommendations for a good tire?

Thx

I'm running 225/40/18 on my 18X8 same offset, you can run wider tires such as 235/40/18, but I don't see much advantage of that except additional weight on tires.

Falken RT-615 are great performance tires given their low price, they are on par w/ other expensive tires. Don't expect a long tread life tho, the tires will be done in 2 summers. Traction is excellent on dry, pretty good @ wet (way better than stock of course), stiff sidewall and turn-in @ corner is sharp too.

The only down side is they are not as quiet as the expensive brand, but still better than stock.

They have awesome lateral grip, but suck for straight line traction. Then again, I don't think you'll see a problem with the TSX, but that's what I observed on my GTO compared to stock BFG KDWS tires.

Can you give us a brief idea how you will run those summer tires? Normal street drive, aggressive drive, track etc. There's too many to list (30+ tires choices) but if you break it down on what you want, it will be easier to pick.
