Tire advice

Would 225/45/17 tires be a good match/fit/setup for my car? Ive been up all night reading and trying to figure this out. I just want to make sure before ordering tires.

My wheels are 17x7 51 offset, Enkei Aegis 3 piece.

P.s not lowered yet.

They'll be smaller diameter than stock, throwing your speedo off. I'd get 215/50 for those 17x7 wheels. 17x7.5+ could use 235/45, which is almost stock diameter.

The question is 2 months old, so I'd guess the decision has been made. I would be curious what tire size was chosen though. I agree with the points made about the 225's (though the 225/45x17 size is the size recommended by Honda with the A-spec suspension and the 17x7.5 A-spec wheel). With a 7" wheel, you pretty much have to stick with the OE size tire.
