Their adjustable, so you can get any ride type you want.

But, you can't have a soft, comfortable and expect it to handle like a race car. Give and take...

Type Flex on their softest setting isn't as soft as stock.

I don't have them on my car but I've been out in two cars that have had them installed. The ride is definitely more firm but it's well controlled. The spring rates are about 3 times stiffer than stock which will allow you to lower aggressively without bottoming out. They'll let you lower up to 3" i believe.

By the sounds of it, you probably want the Tein SS instead of the Flex. The Type Flex is more for people that want to race or use the EDFC controller. The SS is an advanced street setup.

Yes, under no circumstances are they softer or more comfortable than stock. If "feeling less bumps" is important to you, forget aftermarket suspensions. While the TSX has a fairly stiff factory ride, there's nothing aftermarket that's going to make it more comfortable. A-Spec is the next softest, and it gets stiffer from there........

The FLEX are very compliant and well damped CONSIDERING how low they go, and how much they improve the handling.

My wife still has not noticed them enough to comment on my ride quality, but several other people have noted that my car is firm. No one found it unpleasant or uncomfortable though.

Are you looking at the US spec or JDM model? The JDM uses softer spring rates, if you can find a set.
