Tein springs

Does anyone or has anyone ran on TEIN springs, there is this dude willing to give up his springs for 50 bucks. What do you guys think, I was planning on getting coilovers in the future (at the moment I can't afford them) so I was thinking about the springs for the mean time. Anyone have pics?

Do it! How can u lose, they're 50 bucks! Unless he got into a serious chassis twisting, suspension tearing accident.....but anyway, springs hardly wear....

good point! just inspect for signs of rust (there should NEVER be any) and buy them as fast as possible. tein makes some of the best suspension components in the world!

does anyone know the differences in the Tein spring line ups? Whats the difference between the H and the S spring and are there anymore? I curious so I know when I see them what type of drop I'm gonna be expecting and spring ratios.

h-tech springs are only good for an inch drop (maybe just a bit less) they are designed to give the car a sportier look, yet maintain a compliant ride. the s-tech give you more or less a 1.5" drop. they more firm than stock and thus make your car more "streetable"

Yesh. I just went through a spring install on stock struts for my wifes 06 Accord and its not a process I want to go through again anytime soon. Now, I bought Tanabe NF210 springs, which almost has the same spring rates as the stocks (in fact, I think it rides a bit smoother now), so I shouldnt need to replace the struts for a long time.

So I would pickup the springs, but you might want to save your pennies for some Koni's if your going to do it yourself...

I was thinking about getting two Koni yellows for the two front struts and leaving the two rear stock
