Any reason why you would want the lower spring rates (compared to the US spec)?

If you want to get the US spec and trade with me, I'd be willing...

kangjin,

I'm assuming that you have the Japan spec Tein Flex. Do you feel that the springs are too soft in your set up?

Yes, I have the JDM spec. I don't necessarily feel they're too soft, I'd just like to have the springs that they feel are matched to our chassis/weight combo.

I think 0/0 (full hard) would be too stiff for daily driving, but I drove around on 4/4 for a couple of weeks and it wasn't too bad. I don't track the car at all, it's just a daily driver.

As others have said, on full soft (16/16) it's still stiffer than stock, so I wonder what the higher spring rates feel like on full soft.

hope that helps
Brian

Underdamped.

On the other hand, 4/4 is way too stiff for street driving ; I'm currently at 10/9; I believe JTso is at 8/7. While obviously firmer than stock, this setting produces a compliant ride, with no initial impact harshness.
