TEIN FLEX Coilovers

My TEIN Flex Coilovers are getting installed tomorrow I can't wait to see how they feel. I will do a right up on them then on the lowest setting. My edfc did not come in yet so I will not test other settings till it arrives, there is still a chance that it may get here tomorrow.

I wanna see...what made you get the flex instead of the SS? was it the EDFC compatibility?

Yeah I wanted the EDFC for the adjustability to try the different setting plus since I am building a show car I want it for that too.

Hey Colt,

I saw photos of the Tein EDFC in your JDM pedals thread. You never followed up on this thread with the Tein Flex coil overs. What do you think of them? How's the ride quality and handling? Please fill us in! =)

You'll love them Flexes.. Handling is great when it comes to turns (especially if you got negative camber)...you'll feel the difference... you can also slam your car pretty low. Ive had mines on for a year now..been loving the ride ever since.

Hey,
I'd like to know how is the ride quality on the Flex's. I'm looking into a set of coilovers, but I want the ride comfort to be as close to stock as possible. I know to expect a stiffer ride due to the drop, but I don't want a harsh ride. I'll also be running 19" wheels in the spring time.

I had Tein SS on my 02' TL-S and even with the 19's on, the ride quality was so smooth.

Just looking for some input before I make a final purchase.
