Tein Basic and Scraping?

Whats up everybody. As I previously mentioned before, I am meeting with Marcus tommorrow from Heeltoe Automotive down in California to install my Tein Basics. However, my question to you all is that with the combination of the OEM Kit and the standard drop of my Teins (2" front and 1.6" rear), have any of you experienced scraping over speed bumps, rain gutters, or driveways?

Thanks in advance.

I have FLEX witha similar drop, OEM kit and smaller than stock 225/45/17s, which lowers the car a little more. I haven't scraped anything in 6 months of normal driving, but it is really low and I could see how it could scrape if you went up a steep driveway straight on. There are a handful of drives that I attack on a angle, but I don't really go any slower than I used too..................

my car is lowered about 1.9" both front and rear on 225/45/R17 wheels. no problems with scraping really. but i did destroy my cusco type II lower arm brace recently by going over a drive way with a bit of metal sticking up (i didnt see it).

you should be ok with scraping if you be careful... but with an underbracing bar like the cusco one you'll have to keep in mind that the lowest point of you car is lowered by another .6" or so

My TSX is the first car I've ever had lowered... so since I've lowered it I've scraped it twice. I did it so bad once my friends heard it half a block away

But I wouldn't worry bout scraping unless its a serious bump or a crazy dipped driveway.
