Tanabe DFs

Does Tanabe Dfz lower the car enough and how is the ride?

What enough for me may not be enough for you. I say if you are going to stay with stock wheels then go no lower than 1.75 in front and a little less in the rear. If you are going to go with 18's in the future then you could go down to maybe a lsight bit over 2.0 because of the wheel diameter leaves more wheel gap with the 225/45R18 tires. As for ride?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

if i was to get 18X8, what size tired would you guys prefer?would 225/40/18 be good? or would 235/40/18..? or what other dimensions?

235/40/18 looks better
