I just put on a pair of Potenza 960AS on the back and I notice a big difference in the grip, noise level, and smoothness compared to the Michelin MMX. Well worth the extra pennies IMHO. Another added perk is that the 960s look beefier than the OEMs...I like!

Just dropped off the OEM wheels this morning to have the General's put on.

I probably should have went with the Yoko's but the combination of lower price as well as me really wanting a dedicated summer tire make the General's the choice. They weren't even on my radar 2 weeks ago since they weren't available in the OEM size.

Thanks for everyone's opinion's. Once again AZ > *

Mini review to come next week.

Take it easy with those tires, and keep them inflated with the right pressure. I used 34 all around on my 225 45 18

Other than that im going back to tires that will last me longer. 30k miles for me in a summer is quick.

If I can get 25 to 30K miles out of em that will be good for 3 to 4 season's since I put about 12.5 miles on the car annually and run winters 5 months of the year.

I can't find the treadwear (not rating) on TireRack spec, not even on the tires offical site, where can I found it??

Currently I have Yokohama Advan Sport 225/40/18 on my summer rims, but they are on the expensive side. I will see how I like it this summer, if they are done probably look for a mid-price tires set then.

Just as a heads up. Costco has the Bridgestone Potenza 960AS tires for $156 about. If you go to discount tire or another store they will pricematch it and take 10-15% off. I got them for about $140 each + tax + install.
