Subframe strong enough for 22mm?
im thinking about upgrading the rear sway bar to a 22mm one, but is the tsx subframe strong enough to support this thickness? on older hondas, integras and civics needed something called the asr subframe brace to prevent tearing of the subframe.

I've had my bar on for over a year and it's still fine.
On other note, from what I was told by my mechanic that the sway bar was a waste of money because the endlink mount were the same thickness as the stock one.

The TSX is a bigger (better) car than Civics and Integras. We've been running 22mm sways for years with no issues. No need for Beaks or ASR type kits.
We've got adjustable Progress bars in stock BTW.

Be sure to upgrade your suspension close to the same time as well, else you're increasing your risk of breaking the RSB mounts. There was a thread of a couple people:

I should be getting my Progress RSB tomorrow, looking forward to feel the difference. My car has stock suspension set-up, and I don't plan to switch anytime soon. I heard alot of issues with urethane bushings, mostly about how much it squeeks. I guess I'll just have to see.
