Spray wax for protecting rims?
I'm wondering if its safe for coating new rims with some NXT spray wax. I saw on an older thread that this is what someone did and it helped decrease brake dust bake on the rim. Will this affect the look or finish of the rim itself. The rim is a silver inspyre so it isnt chrome.

I zaino'd my wheels and it does help a lot, especially where dust builds up in the corners of wheel. I put on a coating on my original set back in 2003 and I just took them off yesterday to clean them. It was still easy to get the road grime off. Not everything came off as easily as when I first had waxed them though.
