A-spec suspension - alignment

I have an 06 TSX with 04-05 A-spec suspension installed and had an alignment done when it was installed a year ago.

I just got 06-08 A-spec suspension kit to replace the 04-05 one...

my first question is, do i still have to have another alignment done? I replaced an A-spec suspension with another A-spec suspension (just different year).

my second question is, what is the reason we have to do an allignment after lowering the car?

what i notice is the 06+ one is a bit lower! about 1 finger gap lower in the back.

thanks!

You said it "06+ one is a bit lower".... Now that your car is a bit lower, everything is a bit out of whack. get an alignment it doesn’t hurt.

they were free (warranty). But the dealer quoted me $1350 ($900 for parts + $450 labor) before the warranty went through.

how many miles should i drive it before i get an alignment?

I would give it about 5-7 days to let it settle before getting an alignment, that is what i did and it worked out nicely.

Yes, always get an alignment after making changes to your suspension. As jwood said, drive around for a week or 2, then get it done for the most accurate alignment.
