Silver Star Wheels

Anybody know the best place to buy Silver Star wheels? I've seen them at handa.com for around $175 a piece, but you still have to purchase the insert ($30). Ebay has them for around $700-750 for the set w/ inserts. How about at dealerships? Anyone getting good prices there?

Know of an aftermarket wheel with the same styling?

Also, what tire sizes are recommended for this wheel, the dealership told me that they use the stock tires but I would like a slightly wider tire, around 225, but want to keep the profile about the same. Anyone running 225/45-17 on their TSX? Any problems with that tire size?

I know its several questions, but even a simple web address or link to another thread would be great.

Did you lower the car at all after putting the on the 225/45?

If not, have any pics?

I have them, and love them on my CGP. I'd recommend a new set off eBay for the best price with caps. You can have your OEM tires swapped over to them and just sell the OEM rims.

This may be a retarded question, but is that what you did?

I've kinda decided to keep the stock tire size and just swapping the tires to the new wheels would save some cash. Then replacing them, when its time. with better ones

Thanks for the input

Actually yes, with an Eibach pro kit. I have a CGP 6 speed w/ a spec body kit as well and love the look and performance of the tires.

I don't have pics right now, but I probably will pretty soon.

Yep, exactly what I did. My total price to switch wheels including tire mounting = 220.
