Rear sway bar w/ stock suspension

Does anyone here have an aftermarket rear sway bar with stock suspension? All my previous cars with aftermarket RSB were also lowered so I'm not sure how much of an improvement the handling will be with stock suspension.

its actually the most noticable on stock suspension b/c there is some much suspension travel that it really gives it a work out. its great

Would it cause any problems with the stock suspension since stock is softer than aftermarket?

I am still running all stock suspension and am very happy with the handling improvement.

I have the comptech rear anti sway bar for about 6 months, and I corner pretty hard. I have no problems with my suspension whatsoever, and the rest of my suspension is in stock form.

The only other problem I heard is the end links snapping off. .. But I think it might be due to user error (installing the bar incorrectly, endlinks not torqued to specifications, etc). My suggestion is to take bumps slower with the bar, and don't go "off roading" with the TSX after installing the bar...suspension has to tolerate more stress after installing the bar, so use common sense when driving.

Mine is installed on an otherwise stock suspension with no problems, and a lot better handling. Having driven for over a week with it, its a no brainer and I wish I did it sooner!

Comptech Rear Swaybar with an otherwise stock suspension. Gread mod. No detrimental effects that I can see.

And you use your brakes less because you can corner better.

I also have the stock suspension and the rsb, and it made a huge difference.

Has anyone had a warranty claim with the bar installed? I've read all the posts about how the problem has to be traced back to the aftermarket part to void the warranty, and it seems like this can have an effect on many different pieces of the suspension.

Also, have any of you installed an aftermarket front bar if there is one?

My front struts are leaking, and its being covered under waranty there was no mention of the rear sway bar being related to it. I guess it really depends who your dealer is.

If the tax doesn't get you then the shipping charge will.

Does anyone know where there's an installation instruction manual for how to go about replacing your sway bar? I would like some pictures since I'm partially stupid when it comes to cars.

Thought at least you would try the Comptech Website, you know... where they sell the Comptech Sway Bars... and have a.... whole list of all the installation guides....
