painting rims to match car?

so ive decided not to think about buying rims until spring due to living in the northeast and just spending 850$ on new tires. i think i want to paint my rims now to match the color or my car (graphite pearl). any opinions? i can get identical paint and i have the whole paint gun set up to do it right. i just want some opinions

Try it out.
the worst that can happen is you end up not liking the color.....

I suppose it's like painting a room in your residence. You can sand/strip the paint off and try again if you don't like it.

Going for tires is a good move if you're going to need them soon, but $850 seems like a lot. What tires are you pricing-out?

Also since you're doing the 'black out' theme, you should black out the window trim and you'll be set!

Actually the only OEM replacement window trim that I know of is on Heeltoe and it's $600!! That's a little too steep for me so that's why I haven't done it yet. Hopefully the price goes down soon.
