Okay I've got 19" Axis Hagens... 19x8 on 35 series tires....

I do NOT want an agressive drop. I just want to at least minimize the horrid wheel gap and I'm on a budget.

As a result, I think springs are the way to go, not coilovers.

I know that almost any spring setup I look at I'll need a camber kit which I'm prepared for. But I do not know if I'll need new shocks/struts....

I've been looking at the:

Eibach Pro Kit, and Comptech lowering springs... ?

Any/All advice would be greatly appreciated. I've also been through the wheel gallery and suspension setup thread, and I can't seem to find a pic of a 19/Slight Drop combo...

thanks again for any help!

it is always best to pair up springs w/the appropriate AM shocks/struts. You can get springs and ride on your stock struts, but they'll eventually blow due to the stress it'll be taking on. Also, your ride will be pretty damn bouncey. Your suspension is definitely not something to go cheap with. Wait until you have the cash to go with either a true coilover or springs/shocks setup w/camber kit. I can't tell you how many times I see people go short on their shocks and regret it later.

Nice rims btw

I used the Eibach Pro-Kit for a year and was very happy with them. The drop is perfect F/R. I used the stock shocks for 15k miles and didn't feel it was bouncy at all, although roads here in VA are very good. I upgraded to Tein coilovers later, which I feel is a fine path for lowering

sooner or later I'll probably upgrade to some sort of coilover setup, probably when the shocks go bad... but I can probably get through 20-25k miles on stock shocks/struts can't I?

Right now I'm leaning towards the Ingalls rear camber and eibach pro kit...

thoughts?

PS.... Tampa has excellent roads. Well not excellent, but I never come into contact with potholes and shiat.

Well 235-35/19's are expensive... so i dont wanna wear them excessively for no good reason; i'd rather get the camber kit for $140 than spend $270 per tire prematurely...

so general consensus is what thus far... prokit on stock shocks/struts with the camber; good for at least 20k miles or so? ---given good road conditions??
