OEM tire replacement...avg tread life?

Curious when to replace the factory tires. Just turned 53K miles. Dealer suggested in 3-5K miles, but the treads still look good.

Also, any opinions/experience with the Falken 452s?

Should check tread depth - UK legal limit is 1.6 mm across 3/4 of the width.
Recent tests done by an Auto magazine and TV show showed much reduced stopping power on wet surfaces at 3 mm.
So use that as a recommendation and guideline.

Ive got 55,000 miles. & I just just got my tires today replaced. For the second time.
